Framing/Orientation, what else can I add?

After doing my thumbnails online I realised - the framing/orientation needs to be figured out. Maybe trying to keep it working for portrait and landscape isn't the best idea?

 I had a look back at The Boat, which is specifically for landscape, and everything is a lot more spread out vertically, but it still fits together nicely.

I also noted down some javascript/etc techniques from The Boat that I could use - things I find interesting/engaging, provided I find a way to make them work for the storytelling (on the right)
