- page seven scrollmagic wasn't working for some reason - colour went automatically
- external links in about page...people click on them and it takes them away. I have removed them for now.
- Also should look into javascript that will redirect to the home page after a minute of no activity.

Fix ups
- Fixed up some small art details, such as some alignment of these panels
- as well as various other panels. Have not yet tackled some of the bigger ones that need doing.
- A few loading issues - the 'ugh' bubble on page one
- Added google analytics to all the pages and tested that, now I can track how people read it/lengths of time, etc
- A banner for my website:
- My poster for my exposure shelf:

To do before Exposure/release
- Fix up art, any rushed details
- Add some gifs/subtle animation in a few places that I didn't get time to do
- Create promo images/posters for social media
- Make a version of the first page to put on Tapastic/Tumblr
- More detailed audience testing of both story and technically (I made a google doc with some specific questions + the script for people to comment on things when I do this testing)
- Try to make a print version of the first page, as a zine to sell at zinefest and direct people to the comic online
- Edit the responsive design a bit to be suited to the large iMac screen that it'll be shown on during Exposure. I'll try to make this part of the online version, but if I can't get that to work I'll edit the main version and run that locally off the mac it's showing on.

Tuesday - final details
Went through comic, fixed up some tiny details. Tested on mac, too.
Printed report, proof read, did finals. I hand sewed them because the staplers were all not working, and also I had some thread the same colour.
Did report slides. I mostly put research/process things on there, and I will show various parts of the final comic
Did exposure form. These are the four images I uploaded for the website:

Production
-finished report writing
-finished flower page, mostly. I'm not quite happy with the final art (not quite consistent or perfect colour wise) but I can change that later, after presentation.
-finished last few weeds panels
-made prophecy bubbles pop up one by one
The final (for now) comic, all together:

and here's my 'list' I crossed off as I finished the lines and colouring, and also where I marked places to put eyes and gifs and the most important parts to do first.

Beast Quest colouring
Working on this page now since a) it's the longest and b) it's got a lot of animation/etc I want to highlight.
There are three main colours; purple (to blend from page 5, also calmer/normal, though slightly creepy)
red/brown - danger, action, fungi colour
light blue - calmer, danger's over (ish)
I based the end section colour palette on this one - and then adapted that upwards in the red section.
Did the beast jumping first, because it's in space and didn't need thinking about the colours much. It was also important to get right story-wise.
Gif of the smashing part, which turned out a bit wonky but is All Right For Now.
Things finished tonight - all of the remaining ones aside from the first 4-ish will be pretty quick, as I've got the colour scheme figured out now.

Home page design
Am happy with page 7's colour scheme and think that it makes a good home/title page palette, so did this draft of the composition of it. I will also probably be using this for banners, business cards, etc...
based on these sketches (left, the right are poster/promo ideas)
I used these CSP brushes, just for the rough idea, I will be drawing it myself.
(Those brushes are free open licence though, and I could have totally used them a few months ago...)
This is what it looks like on laptop and mobile view:
Title drawings that I've scanned and will edit, and decide what to use....I've tried quite a few fonts but they just don't have the right feel, so I think something hand drawn is the way to go.
Drew and coloured the final piece:
I then made the titles into separate files and tested colours:
Then I had trouble putting the image in the html - it threw off the full background. I then decided to make it an svg file. This also means I can change the colour easily! I just need to decide one.
Also a card design
or possibly an orange version...
